Obesity – leading cause for coronary heart disease.

Obesity is currently the leading cause for coronary artery disease, various cancer, diabetes mellitus, strokes, hypertension, sleep apnea, respiratory problems, osteoarthritis, social and work related problems. Health survey for England (HSE) data done in January 2016 showed that 60% of adults are overweight or obese, slightly more in women (24% men and 27% women) with increased risk of obesity among children (1 in 10 children between 2-10 years, are obese). The NHS cost for obesity related illnesses is about £4 billion per year and being obese will reduce the life expectancy by an average of 9 years.”
